The subsidiary company DGR won the drilling rig automation tender of Rusgeology in the summer. DrillGeo system of monitoring will be used for this purpose. On the Verkhnerudikovskaya object in the Krasnoyarsk region, work began in November, and the drilling rigs are already equipped. Different models of Rusgeology’s drilling rigs are located in Kemerovo, Murmansk regions, and the Republic of Khakassia.
The pilot project of DrillGeo is the installation of the equipment on the drilling rig LF-90 model. It’s an acquisition company of the Siberian production and geological association Rusgeology JSC which worked on the Verkhnerudikovskaya object in the Krasnoyarsk region. The testing of the system lasted 3 months. It’s the period from December 2021 until February 2022, after that the project was successfully commissioned.
The system allows full control drilling, to take an action faster, and monitor the current equipment state.
