During the plenary session, the new conception “Industry 4.0. – digitization of the mining industry” was discussed.
Ilya Yakushev adressed the importance of implementation of digital technologies in the industry as vital for the increase of competitive power for Russian companies at the global market.
Digitization can help to increase the company’s market share thanks to higher quality, improved performance and production, as well as the increase of export.
Digitization of the mine sites is held back by insufficient implementation of automation systems for mining. And RIT Automation works exactly towards solving the issue of lack of indigenous innovations.
